Casa de los Pasajeros (House of the Wayfarers) is a ten minute stroll from the historic Taos Plaza down Kit Carson Road. It is situated on a quarter acre, well appointed with seven large apple trees, lush grounds, and lovely flowering gardens. High latilla fences surround the property affording a delightful in-town oasis that is set back from the street. Here you will find a sway of quietude and authenticity only steps away from El Monte Sagrado Resort and Spa. The Main House: Two bedrooms, two full baths. Large, deep set windows fall close to the oak floors. The kitchen cabinets are custom made with burnt copper doors. The kitchen and bath floors are satillo tile; the master bath tub is surrounded with silver accented Italian tile. The home has thick adobe walls, wonderful interior colors. The master bedroom has an antique brass bed. The second bedroom also serves as an office and library. All counter-tops and basins are Mexican tile. The home is superbly decorated with the finest in antiques, a rare collection of oil paintings and other fine art. A lovely kiva fireplace accentuates the spacious living/dining room. Comfortably accommodates one to five guests.
The Guesthouse: One bedroom, one full bath. The living room has a kiva fireplace, vigas, and a sleeper sofa. The bedroom has a skylight and a lovely set of corner windows. The kitchenette is tastefully designed with fine wood cabinetry. The guesthouse is also well appointed with antiques, oil paintings, original photography, and a collection of rare books that will delight those interested in Southwest history, arts, and literary traditions. Comfortably accommodates one to three guests.

The house and guesthouse are available separately, or can be combined at a package rate. Ample distance between house and guesthouse assures privacy. You shall immensely enjoy the setting, the proximity to our galleries, museums, fine restaurants, famous watering holes, entertainment, coffee houses, library, parks, shops, and the Chili Line for public transportation.
Lodging Costs: The adobe home lets for around $250.00 nightly, with a preference for a three-night minimum stay. $1500.00 weekly. The guesthouse lets for around $160.00 nightly, preferring a three night minimum. $1000.00 weekly. Keep in mind that negotiation is a welcomed art form at all times! If you and a group need both the guesthouse and adobe home, attractive package rates are available. Please understand that flexibility is employed to make this possible for you.
ll rates for lodging, workshops, classes, seminars, and Inner Passages are determined by the number of participants. Individual cost decrease as numbers increase. Bring others!
